Sex, Pies & A Few White Lies is my story and every woman's story....and some guy's too...(if they're dating.) Five pounds too much or fifty brings on a full-menu of psychosis from an obsessive stalking of bakers, a committed avoidance of mirrors and a determination to drown out the judgement of all those skinny @% * gym rats which leads to the pendulum-swing of endless dieting, bingeing, purging and ultimately, gratitude. Without this endless struggle, I wouldn't be the woman I am today. Without the 101 humiliations I have endured and inflicted on myself, I wouldn't have the humour, perspective and insight allowing me to be so grateful for being exactly me, And that is my goal, to make you laugh a lot, wince a little and celebrate every single flaw whatever they may be, because they are our ticket to dancing down our own path. Life is short: Eat dessert first!

Dodge Rodeo Tour - Aug 21-22

It is with great excitement that Cedar Run & Town of Blue Mountains welcomes The Dodge Rodeo Tour to the Cedar Run Horse Park weekend of August 21st & 22nd. For the first time at Cedar Run in its 13th Season the Dodge Rodeo Tour will stampede into our area with excitement and entertainment for all. The Dodge Rodeo provides a first rate chance for cowboys and cowgirls to compete within the Canadian Cowboys Association for championship buckles, prizes and cash. They travel from across Eastern North America to compete in all of the traditional events of rodeo. Proceeds from this event will go to help support Beaver Valley Outreach.

Cedar Run Horse Trials Show

Competitors and spectators will continue to love coming to this event due to the beautiful setting overlooking Georgian Bay, the variety of terrain and the quality of the show rings. Riders and horses alike will be put to the test at Cedar Run as the horse park plays host to its second officially-sanctioned Ontario Horse Trials Association (OHTA) event of the year. With more than 100 competitors expected, this one-day trial will be a non-stop, action filled day for everyone to enjoy.
